Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998 provides services such as employment training for adults, dislocated workers and youth. The Workforce Investment Network (WIN) provides WIA services in Mississippi through the WIN Job Centers located throughout the state. Hinds Community College has placed Educational Coordinators in the WIN Job Centers located in Jackson, Pearl and Vicksburg.
