Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Training Department is committed to develop the Mississippi workforce in areas such as skills needs, leadership, and technical training requirements for a workforce that can meet the demands of the Mississippi economy.

In addition, our department has developed partnerships with the community colleges in Mississippi, local businesses, and civic organizations throughout the state to further meet the training needs of our workforce.

On a state level, the workforce development team can also assist businesses to secure reimbursement dollars from the State Board of Community and Junior Colleges to help reduce business training costs and qualify the Mississippi workforce with the best available training in today’s market place.
